What Is Mentor Coaching?

Unlike coaching, mentor coaching focuses on developing the coach rather than addressing the coach's personal or professional goals.

The Mentor Coaching Specialization recognizes advanced learning and development in mentor coaching and supports coaches who wish to build expertise in this specialized area of practice.

Advanced Accreditation in Mentor Coaching (AAMC)

The Advanced Accreditation in Mentor Coaching is an ICF coaching education accreditation designed for organizations that deliver mentor coaching education programs.

AAMC applies to coaching education providers. MCS focuses on the development of mentor coaching knowledge, skills, and practice for individual coaches.
